The interior uses a combination of natural timber ceilings, polished concrete floors, and black stained timber joinery. The contrast between the timber’s warmth/texture and the concrete’s raw solid materiality creates a dynamic interplay of texture and colour. The clients both had a keen interest in art and the thoughtful integration of their collection was a priority to ensure each piece was celebrated within the home.

Located in a prestigious Caulfield North street, Cantilever House features a dramatic overhanging steel screen to the front facade. This creates cover for the entry while also providing privacy to the street facing bedrooms.
