Consistent with the coastal, modern theme of the development, this is a simple pavilion style building, sympathetically sited in the native undulating landscape. Palm Springs inspired, without the palms, in harmony with the coastal Victorian setting. The material palette includes painted bricks and rough sawn timber, offset with black window frames and dark fascias. The neutral colours and natural textures are inspired by mid-century architecture and the coastal environment.
The house includes a carport, four bedrooms and an open plan kitchen, meals, living space, as well as a lounge/study. Access is from the south, via a private road from where a discrete, private façade, with a cantilevered timber carport and entry canopy, opens to a light filled hall. Vistas throughout the house to the garden and native vegetation ensures constant appreciation of the site context.
