Northcote House

Situated on a small inner city site, the double height north facing light well was central to this design, in both a literal and metaphoric sense.

At the middle of the building, the light well is complimented by a feature staircase of timber and white powder coated elements, which sets the tone for the overall feel of the home; casual, light, and fit for a young family of five.

Interior details such as timber, internal wall paneling, and feature tiles add interest to what is fundamentally a simple palette, while outside, face bricks and metal window shrouds create a sharp, robust contrast.
