Designed in accordance with strict heritage controls, the front portion of the building responds formally to the Victorian single storey streetscape.
Beyond, the interior and rear of the building blends the classic frontage with a modern mix of concrete, timber, brick, and marble.

It is always interesting to work with clients from creative industries, who have a keen interest in (and knowledge of) design. A clear vision allows the design team to work in a highly collaborative manner with the client, resulting in a home that truly reflects the people who will live in it.
Rebecca is one such client. With her own interior business, Rebecca’s trained eye for spaces and styling has informed her beautiful, considered brief for her new home in Rosanna, where construction will commence in the coming months.

It’s been nearly three years since handover at Elwood Townhouse, and the garden has well and truly taken on a life of its own.
We’ll be re-shooting the house early next year to capture how the home feels now it is ‘lived in’.

The German architect was one of the pioneers of the modernist movement, and his work, and ‘less is more’ approach to design is often referenced in Pleysier Perkins’ and InForm’s work.
“Set on a narrow, sloping site primed for expansive bay views, the home’s geometric, assertive facade is softened by a curved, steel spiral staircase and brushy greenery.
It’s a clever mix of raw and foraged, whittled into a resilient structure designed to withstand the coast’s abrasive salty air and inclination for extreme temperatures. ”
