We teamed up with photographer Derek Swalwell and stylist Heather Nette King to photograph a recently completed coastal residence in Sorrento during early March.
Reflecting the undulating topography of the site, this holiday house is composed of a series of stepped pavilions. The main house accommodates the kitchen, meals and living space, master bedroom and guest bedroom, while a separate pavilion linked by the deck incorporates two further bedrooms.
During the shoot, we sat down with InForm client, Maggie to find out a bit about her experience with InForm and how their new home is shaping up.
What initially led you to InForm?
We loved the design of the California House and we had always believed InForm to have a great reputation. So there was no question for us to go elsewhere.
How did you find the InForm process leading up to construction, and during the construction period?
Having never gone through a build before, I found it easier than I had heard. From our first meeting through to all the preliminary design meetings with the architect and our consultant David Lawn, everything was very thorough and we appreciated the attention to detail from the onset. We really felt our brief was met and as we are based overseas most of the time, InForm made it very easy for us throughout the construction phase.
Was your home completed on time?
Our house was completed before our contracted completion date.
What is your favourite thing about your home?
That it is exactly what we wanted. We love it all!
All in all, how would you describe your experience with InForm?
We have been very happy.
